Cold rolled portal frame
The cold rolled portal frame is designed to industrial standards and the engineering is calculated following (BS5950-5) and (BS6399 Part 2). This considers the location and windspeeds ensuring the building is fit for purpose in its exact location, and the frame has an expected life span of 50 years if kept in a dry environment.
Cold rolled portal frames are C-sections and Z-purlins which are manufactured and galvanized to BS EN 10346:2009 Fe E390G – Z275 in the UK. They are fully bolted together (Not to be mistaken for many ‘Top Hat’ methods that are Tek screwed together) and feature an anti-sag system between purlins, commonly used where industrial standards are required.
Cladding
Non-insulated/Single Skin
AS30 Plastisol single skin box profile. Available in a range of colours with anti-condensation on the underside of the roof cladding.
Insulated/Composite Panels
A range of insulated panels are available (40mm/60mm/80mm/100mm/115mm) in a variety of colours.
Flashings
A range of insulated panels are available (40mm/60mm/80mm/100mm/115mm) in a variety of colours.
Guttering and down pipes
These are made from the same material as the cladding to ensure a consistent finish.
Fixers
Colour coded cladding fixers, main frame nuts, bolts and anchor foundation bolts are all included.
Doors
A variety of roller doors are available on this type of building, such as Single skin, Galvanised lath or Insulated finishes. All of them are available in a range of colours and are available manually operated or electrically operated.
Heavy duty security personnel doors can either be in plain grey or colour coded.
